KCPAO is a leader in law enforcement’s shift to targeting and prosecuting sex buyers and diverting survivors of CSE to services available. This shift has made a remarkable difference in holding sex buyers accountable for the harm caused by purchasing sex in King County. KCPAO’s commitment to addressing commercial sexual exploitation has benefited the EEC by helping our team better understand what effective tools are needed to change the way a government agency addresses their CSE cases. KCPAO has been able to provide educational awareness webinar materials, technical assistance, and consultative support, as well as training throughout Washington state.
